Meet Cheryl Adcox

Bio:

Cheryl has been a Registered Nurse since 2003 with a background in Oncology and Hospice care. Cheryl is a graduate of the two year Anamcara Program offered through Sacred Art of Living in Bend, OR and is also a certified facilitator of the Institute of Noetic Science's Conscious Aging Workshops. She is dedicated to assisting individuals and their loved ones to find peace, security, meaning and wholeness at any point from diagnosis of a serious illness to death and briefly beyond.

Client care:

My goal as an end-of-life doula is to be committed to offering quality end of life care. To meet individuals and their families exactly where they stand and to walk alongside them as they navigate the final stages of life; at any point from diagnosis of a serious illness through death and briefly beyond.  To be a consistent companion offering non-judgmental support (emotional, physical and spiritual) guidance, calming presence,  education and advocacy.

Community care:

Through the offering of workshops, special events and facilitated group discussions, I help to create a safe space where meaningful explorations of our attitudes, beliefs, fears, questions and hopes around end of life issues can occur.
